By Sam Sandmire-During her 18-year stint as head coach, Sam Sandmire has led the Boise State University Broncos to 18 consecutive appearances at the NCAA Nationals, and several top 25 national finishes. Her teams have won conference championships 5 of the last 8 years including back to back first place finishes in 2003 and 2004. Several Bronco gymnasts have qualified to NCAA Nationals, including Lindsay Ward in 2004 and the program boasts 5 All-American honors and countless Academic All-Americans. The 2004 Broncos finished 23 nationally and reported a 100% graduation rate.
